Additional Information: Registration opens at 7:30. Competition runs from 8:30am-11:30am Anyone belaying during the competition is required to have undergone and passed a belay test at Gripstone. Any person looking to lead belay or climb is required to have undergone and passed a lead test at Gripstone. Competitors who do not pass these tests will be unable to belay or lead climb during the competition. All competitors are strongly encouraged to come to Gripstone and take these tests before the competition, so they do not have to wait in line, or test during their competition time.

Additional Information: Check-in: begins at 8am with comp 9am – 12pm Belay tests, if done ahead of time, are free of charge. $5 charge for any belay tests day-of, though no guarantee that it can be done. No lead belay tests day-of. ABD required (GriGri, Jul2, etc.). There is a $4 rental fee but we do not have enough for everyone so please bring your own or share. THey do not rent out or lend ropes.
